MY STORY

Even though I grew up Jewish and went to Hebrew school for 5 years, I wasn’t raised to understand the deep wisdom and spirituality that lived in my lineage. I felt that I had inherited a culture of “whiteness,” fast food, fast cars, celebrities, and a religion I didn’t resonate with.

A part of me longed for true spiritual lineage and connection to the earth-honoring ways which were modeled so powerfully by indigenous cultures all over the world. I grew increasingly passionate as I studied these cultures through travels and a degree in Cultural Anthropology, and devoted myself to supporting indigenous cultures in passing down their elder’s wisdom, traditions, and ancestral ways.

After volunteering on ancestral cultural revitalization projects for a year on a Native American Reservation, I had an awakening. I realized that I was a white girl, disconnected from my own ancestors’ wisdom, and trying to help the elders in another culture pass down their knowledge to future generations.

I saw that I was coming from my own deep wound of separation from my ancestors.

I felt the pain, grief, disconnection, anger, and loneliness of the separation from my ancestors and their wisdom. So, my own journey of true ancestral connection and healing began.

I began interviewing my elders and recording their stories. I built out family trees, piecing together what we still had left after the Holocaust. I dove into the practices of my own Jewish lineage and explored my own intuitive ceremonies to connect with my wise and well ancestors for healing.

It wasn’t always easy. Because I was so disconnected from my Jewish culture, the language, the rites, and the spiritual practices, I often found myself feeling like an imposter in Jewish spaces. I had been so disconnected from my roots that I felt alone, even in places one would hope to find belonging. I stumbled a few times. I got called out for cultural appropriation, dove into anti-racism work, and decided to keep showing up.

A few years later, an experience changed my life: While visiting one of my ancestral homelands, I experienced a radical full-body awakening.

I felt every single cell of my body come alive. Tears poured from my eyes, my entire nervous system relaxed, I felt my ancestors within me, and every cell and my soul itself hummed with the feeling of, “I’m Home.”

I felt — bone-deep and on a soul level — how connecting to my ancestors brought me a sense of belonging, wholeness, healing, and remembrance that I had been searching for my entire life.

Everything changed after that. I began inviting my wise and well ancestors to walk with me, teach me, guide me, protect me, and help me heal. Over the years, my connection to them deepened through prayer, ritual, meditation, dance, offerings, and embodiment practices. Piece by piece, I began to re-weave the ancient magic, power, beauty, and wisdom within my lineage back into my life… and as a result, it supportedme greatly on my own path of healing my deepest wounds.

Slowly, I began to integrate ancestral connection and healing into my practice with clients. I deepened my studies and research to weave together ancestry, spirituality, and psychology.

Over the 10 years I have been a Spiritual Guide, I have also studied with mentors and teachers of many kinds through courses of study and also through 1-on-1 Mentorships. I have deepened my studies on the topics of shamanism, ancestral healing, inner child work, water priestess wisdom, feminine temple arts, shadow work, womb wisdom, sacred business, dreamwork, beekeeping, emotional alchemy, spiritual lineages in my lineage such as Judaism and Mystical Christianity & Catholocism, as well as other lineages such as Spiritism, Yoruba/Ifa, Umbanda, Candomblé, and more.

I approach the work I do from a place of deep study as well as opening the oracular channel — allowing something bigger to work through us all. In my work, I guide people to connect to their own ancestors through their bodies so they self-source their own sense of wisdom and ancestral connection from within.

It is my mission to awaken a remembrance on our planet — the importance of ancestral healing, connection, and ancient wisdom.

When we heal our relationship to where we come from, it allows for incredible healing to unfold in our lives — more than we could ever imagine. Ancestral healing literally heals at the root level, which can shift our lives and bring miracles.

I would not be here without my ancestors, and I definitely wouldn’t be here without the wisdom of the indigenous cultures who have fought to protect their ancestral wisdom and keep it alive on the planet.
