Join us for a 2-day ritual immersion, nestled in the Oaks, to connect with your Ancestors, liberate your lineage, and create ritual art in a circle of women in the woods.
This Samhain Season, immerse in lineage and song to re-write, remember, and reclaim the story of your lineage.
We gather together in-person for 2 days of transformational rituals, ancestral connection, and lineage magic woven through song.
On our final day together, we gather for our final ritual where we will each don a black veil, in embodied connection with the Ancestors, the Oracles, and the Wise Women through time. This ritual experience will be filmed as a ritual art piece for Marya’s song, Through the Veils. We are creating true ritual art together!
You will be held by the ancestral lands of the Chumash, today known as Topanga, California, at Butterfly Mountain. The Chumash name “Topanga” translates “where the mountains meet the sea” — a liminal space of great power and beauty.
We gather here during the season most known for Ancestral Connection; a time of the year when the veils are at their thinnest; known as Samhain.

It is located approximately 12 minutes from the central town of Topanga, 20 minutes from Malibu ocean, 40 minutes from Santa Monica, and 50 minutes from LA. Topanga is 60-90 minutes from LAX and BUR airports, depending on traffic.
We recommend arriving the morning of Oct. 16th or earlier to check into your lodgings, and leaving the day after our closing on Oct. 18th or extending your stay.
MEET YOUR GUIDES
Torie Feldman
Torie Feldman is an Ancestral Healing Guide living on the unceded indigenous land of the Tongva and Chumash, also known as Topanga, California. Torie has devoted much of her life to the immersive study of diverse spiritual lineages and traditions, including her Jewish heritage, Tohono O’odham & Hia-Ced O’odham tribes, and Shamanism.
Drawing from these deep roots, she specializes in the intersection of ancestral healing, earth-based wisdom, and spiritual studies. She is recognized for her extensive study of indigenous cultures, ancient Mystery Schools, and ritual arts, and for her unique ability to weave these traditions together into cross-cultural teachings that can meet anyone in their relationship to their lineage.
She helps people connect to their ancestors, trust their magic, and reclaim their spiritual gifts in a deeply grounded and embodied way. Torie Feldman is the Founder of Sacred Ancestry, a global movement of people connecting to their ancestors and healing their lineages.
Marya Stark
Marya Stark is an award-winning vocalist, composer, producer, and performer whose work bridges music, myth, and transformation. A storyteller and bard, she weaves medicine songs and ceremonial performances that guide audiences on soul-stirring journeys.
An Arizona native, Marya trained in classical voice at Chapman Music Conservatory before becoming a music therapist, catalyzing a prolific songwriting journey rooted in psyche, sound healing, and mysticism. She spent her early career working with at-risk youth, mental health, and hospice care while deepening her studies in Daoist Mysticism, Buddhist Psychology, and Womb Wisdom.
As the founder of Temple of the Muse, Marya mentors students in voice cultivation, songwriting as soul craft, and creative alchemy.

+ Where is Topanga, California and what dates shall I arrange for my travel?
Our location in Topanga is Butterfly Mountain in Topanga, California.

+ Is food and lodging included?
This 2-Day Immersion does not include food or lodging. We recommend eating breakfast before arriving each morning. We have a 2 hour lunch break each day, during which you can eat at a local restaurant (There are several 12-15 minutes away) or eat at our Immersion location (you are welcome to bring your own food; refridgeration not provided). There are also dinner breaks each day as well, which make a wonderful time to bond and deepen with the women you meet at the immersion.
+ How many people are expected to attend?
We are expecting between 30-50 people. Magic happens when we all gather together, and our power grows in collective ritual space. There will also be times when you are placed in smaller groups for depth, intimacy, and connection.

+ What happens once I sign up? How does this work?
Once you sign up you will receive a welcome email. You will also receive email updates as we get closer. We recommend booking a hotel or AirBnb closeby, and purchasing airplane tickets for trevel if needed. We are here to support with any questions you have!
+ Is any previous ancestry research necessary?
Nope — come as you are. If you have done research, wonderful — and totally okay if not, too.
+ Can I connect with my ancestors if I don't know their names?
YES — even if you don’t know who your ancestors were, you can absolutely connect with them! In fact, a foundational piece of ancestral healing is to connect to your ANCIENT Healed Ancestors who lived thousands of years ago, and whose names have been forgotten by history. That is what this Immersion guides you to do. We would be honored to have you!
+ Will I be singing at this ritual retreat?
You are welcome to sing with us! Your voice is a powerful vessel for healing yourself and your lineage. For some women, it is an edge to express through the voice. We welcome you and your voice exactly as you are.
